Rick and Karen
Rick, ably assisted by his lovely wife Karen, operates the lights and provides sound design for Amish Monkeys shows. Ever wonder why the music between our improv skits often sets just the right mood, and ties in thematically with one of the games? It’s because Rick plans the music carefully for each show, based on the games. Also, his sense of when to black things out is often critical to the success of our scenes. He and Karen are usually responsible for box office duties as well, greeting you at the Gemini ticket window.
Rick came to the Monkeys after taking a couple of acting classes from Frank. He has experience in all areas of theater, and some in film, as well. He is proud of his role in the troupe. “I love watching others succeed,” says Rick, “and if I can help in some way, I am pleased!”
