Laura
Laura started improvising as a member of Scotch ‘n’ Soda at Carnegie Mellon University. She was a founding member of Flying Pig Theatre’s improvisational group, Reality Optional, with which she performed for five years. She was also a member of Pittsburgh Theatresports. She has been with the Amish Monkeys since the very beginning, before the group even had a name. Aside from performing with the Amish Monkeys, Laura played Marina in Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding for nearly a year. Laura’s experience in improv has served her well in her job as a preschool teacher.
Fun Fact: The first prize Laura ever won in a radio contest was Mary MacGregor’s classic album, Torn Between Two Lovers.
