What is Improv?

Each Amish Monkeys performance is based on suggestions given by you, the audience.

Any given show consists of a variety of sketches or games, each of which has its own unique rules and twists. In one game, for example, our actors might have to perform a scene about a certain profession (chosen by the audience) without using a certain letter of the alphabet (also chosen by the audience). In another game, we might improvise a story (the title of which the audience would provide) in a style such as Western (again, suggested by the audience).

Since it’s all improvised, and since we have a vast repertoire of games, you’re guaranteed never to see the same show twice!
